A "call" on the river <br />during low water ye rs is gene ally put into effect above the <br />Grand Valley Canal i take at alisade. This will not affect <br />the use of this avast water. IE a "call" is placed downstream <br />from the point of pum ing, en water will have to be purchased <br />from the Ute Water Dis ric . <br />The drainage area which ns into this draw is about 40 acres <br />in size. For a rain int nsity of one inch per hour a flow of <br />about 4/10 cfs is genet d. The culvert under C 1/2 Road is a <br />48 inch diameter corru to steel pipe. This is more than <br />adequate to handle thi fl The pond which will be removed <br />by this pit operation is pr ~arily filled with seepage water <br />and irrigation runof water. The change in drainage <br />characteristics of a area i negligible. <br />The maximum truck raffic of 1 0 trucks per day will be limited <br />to 10 days per ye r.
