Cottony
Division Direcor
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division's review found that, with one exception, the above-referenced reports
satisfy the reporting requirements for coal waste piles and ponds for the 3rd Quarter,
2006. The reports were well-prepazed and contained the required information, but the
refuse pile report was filed a few weeks late. When filing future waste pile reports,
please be aware of Rules 4.10.2(2) and 4.09.1(11)(b) which require submitting the report
to CDRMS within two weeks following the inspection.
Copies of memos summarizing our review aze attached.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me.
Sincerely,
i ~-t-t-, /~~~
Tom Kaldenbach
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Daniel I.
