Specific changes have been noted for the South aril North Platte drainages. The South Platte
<br /> drainage has had many diversions, primarily for irrigation, and has also had water additions from the
<br /> western slope. In contrast, much of the North Platte water has been stored in several large
<br /> reservoirs. Today meadow jumping mice are found aMy in the South Platte watershed,and the
<br /> possible effects of the contrasting water management regimes might be an important component of
<br /> a landscape investigation(see Section Vlp.
