] As noted above the refuse pile was modelled considering a <br />horizontal boundary with a sloping piezometric surface applied to <br />the material above t_he boundary and a secondary piezometric surface <br />applied to material between the horizontal boundary and the pile <br />contact with the foundation or alluvium material. The maximum <br />piezometric head in the foundation alluvium material appears to be <br />6.63-feet (PZ 107), which corresponds to a pore pressure of <br />413.71 PSF. To allow for slight increases in the piezometric level <br />within the foundation a piezometric head of 8-feet was applied <br />which corresponds to a constant pore pressure of 499.20 PSF. <br />24 <br />
