4. A question azose in reviewing water quality data from Spoil Springs #5. In the text, it is
stated that the spring water had an electrical conductivity of 6130 umhos/cm'- while the
data in the appendix (page B-117) indicate an electrical conductivity of-3800
umhos/cm=. Is it possible that the Division has misinterpreted the tables and/or the text?
if so please clarify. It appears that an explanation of the salinity of the water from that
spring could possibly be its origin from the Wadge coal seam.
Please submit the stocktank as-built certifications and respond to item #4 so we may conclude
our review of the 1996 AHR. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
~~~v" ~ ~,
~ ~~~&~~
Erica S.
