<br />INTERNATIONAL URANIUM (USA) CORPORATION <br />2005 ANNUAL REPORT <br />Topaz Mine M -1980-055-HR <br />The Topaz Mine remains on "standby-ready status". <br />The Operator has removed the temporary plug in the Topaz portal and accessed the <br />decline to assess the condition of the workings. <br />During 2006, the Operator plans to evaluate the condition of the Topaz decline and reach <br />a decision on whether or not to resume mining operations at the Sunday Mine group of mines, <br />which includes the Topaz Mine. As of year-end 2005, no development or mining operations <br />were underway at the Topaz Mine, and no new disturbance has taken place at the site which will <br />affect the reclamation surety estimate. <br />During 2005 the Operator continued to monitor eradication of localized occurrences of <br />knapweed. One additional treatment was administered in 2005, and the spraying results are <br />positive. <br />At the end of December 2003, the Operator submitted a Final Reclamation Map for the <br />Topaz Mine Permit. The Final Reclamation Map was accepted by the Division in January 2004. <br />The site map submitted by the Operator during the Technical Revision and Final Reclamation <br />planning has not changed and remains current. <br />Following review of the requirements for resumption of mining operations at the Topaz <br />Mine and nearby mines, the Operator will formally notify the Division of Minerals and Geology <br />in the event that a decision is reached to commence mining operations. <br />
