<br />4.1 Manufacturing and Testing <br />4.1. i The manufacturer will provide a fist of guazanteed minimum average roll value <br />properties for the specified geotextile to be installed. <br />4.1.2 The manufacturer will provide a list of guaranteed minimum physical properties <br />for the specified geonet to be installed. <br />4.1.3 Each roll of geotextile and geonet shall bear a label which identifies the <br />followins: <br />Nfanufacturer <br />Product identification <br />Unique roll or lot number <br />Roll dimension <br />4.2 Shipment and Storage <br />4.2.1 Geotextile <br />During shipment and storage, the geotextile shall be protected from ultraviolet light <br />exposure, precipitation or other inundation, mud dirt, dust, puncture, cutting or any other <br />damaging or deleterious conditions. To that effect, geotextile rolls shall be shipped and <br />stored in relatively opaque and watertight wrappings. <br />Geotextiles shall not be exposed to precipitation prior to being installed. Geotextile shall <br />not be exposed to sunlight for more than 1~ days unless otherwise specified and <br />ouazanteed by the geotextile manufacturer. <br />4.2.2 Geonet <br />Geonets shall be shipped and stored in such a manner that the material is protected from <br />mud, dirt, and damage. <br />4.3 Installation <br />4.3.1 Geotextile and geonets shall be handled in such a manner as to ensure they aze not <br />damaged in any way. <br />4.3.1.1 On slopes, geotextiles and geonets shall be anchored in the anchor trench; <br />then rolled down [he slope in such a manner as to continually keep the <br />material in tension. <br />4.3. l .2 In the presence of wind, the materials shall be weighted with sandbags <br />until final covers are installed. <br />29 <br />
