EXPLANATION OF DATA FLAGS
B - This flag is used to indicate that an analyte is present in
the method blank as well as in the sample. It indicates
that the user should consider this when evaluating the
results.
E - This data flag indicates that a sample result is an estimate
because the concentration exceeded the calibration range of
the instrument.
J - Indicates that a value is an estimate. It is used when a
compound is determined to be present based on the mass
spectral data, but at a concentration less than the
practical quantitation limit of the method. This flag is
also used when estimating the concentration of a tentatively
identified compound.
* - Used to indicate matrix interference.
X - This flag refers the client to an included case narrative
for additional information which may be useful in data
evaluation.
