Long <br />Division Dvenor <br />Re: Foidel Creek Mine, C-82-056, Fourth Quarter 1999 Coal Waste Pile Inspection <br />Rick Mills <br />Deaz Mr. Mills: <br />The Division received Twentymile Coal Company's Fourth Quarter 1999 Coal Waste Pile Inspection <br />Report on February 1, 2000. <br />According to the report, prepared by Northwest Colorado Consultants for Twentymile Coal <br />Company, no additional refuse was placed or compacted during the fourth quarter, so no compaction <br />tests were conducted. <br />Three additional piezometer were installed on the first bench along the east face of the pile to provide <br />additional information to evaluate the hydrologic condition of the pile_ Piezometer water level data: <br />was provided for test hole No.l, test hole No. 2, and the three new wells. The North and South wells <br />continue to show slight fluctuations in water level. <br />This report complies with Rules 4.10.2 and 4.09.1(11)(a). Please be reminded that Rule 4.09.1(11)(b) <br />requires a copy of the report to be forwazded to the Division within two weeks of the inspection. <br />Please provide these reports to the Division within the two-week period. <br />Sincerely, <br />~ / <br />~ "~ <br />i ~.
