Fledging success was not <br />determined in most years (1997-2005), but the continued occupation of the territories suggests <br />that eagles have not been affected by activities at the Seneca II Mine. <br />Table 2. In all other years, nesting <br />information was obtained between 21 April and 6 May. <br />SANDHILL CRANE ACTIVITY <br />During wildlife surveys in late Apri12005, one pair of sandhill cranes was found nesting <br />at the south edge of the mine permit azea in SW'/a SE'/4 Section 12, TSN, R87E.
