including those for double-seam mining.
The 2005 AHR contained a published report entitled "Subsidence Characteristics at Bowie
Mines, Colorado". The report shows, in part, that there is a good correlation between the
predicted subsidence magnitudes and the measured subsidence magnitudes.
Finally, subsidence features were mapped and a 2005 Subsidence Crack Mapping Report was
included in the AHR submittal. The Division has one question concerning this report:
7. On page M-4 of the November 30, 2005 memo entitled "2005 Subsidence Crack
Mapping Update", there is a statement that some large sandstone boulders from a failed
outcrop were found on the road leading up Stevens Gulch. Were these boulders removed
from the road?
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
~~ ~~
H J.
