The invert crest of the <br />emergency spillway will be raised from its current elevation of 5485.5 feet to 5486.5 feet in order to <br />provide the one foot freeboard required by DMG regulations. The pond is adequately sized (3.17 <br />acre-feet) to contain a 3-year sediment volume (1.92 aae-feet) and a 10-year, 24-hour event (1.20 <br />acre-feet). <br />I am enclosing two' SEDCAD print outs showing total discharge and pond capacity at various <br />elevations.. <br />Some of the pertinent data are as follows: <br />Primary Spillway Elevation .................................5485.5 feet <br />Emergency Spillway Elevation ..............................5486.5 feet <br />Crest of Emergency Spillway with 25-year, 24-hour event .........5487.5 feet <br />Berm Elevation .........................................5488.5 feet <br />Map 78 of the permit will be revised to show these changes and submitted as a minor revision. <br />Sincerely, <br />Murari P.
