<br />LC 14.0 <br />R E C L A ?1 A T I O N R E Q U I R E M E N T S <br />:iATER TP,EATMENT ?LAN T, L'iPOUND:IENTS <br />AND DRYING AREAS, A:QD <br />14.2 CRITERIA <br />These sites shall be decontaminated to background radiation <br />ranges in accordance with applicable state and federa] <br />regulations in effect at the time, based on a statistically <br />defensible set of soil measurements with depth. They shall be <br />reclaimed in accordance with the requirements of the Colorado <br />Efined Land Reclamation Board permit and returned to unrestricted <br />use. <br />14.2.1 Contaminated materials remaining from decommissioning after <br />final facility shutdown shall be removed, treated and disposed <br />of in a manner approved by the Department. <br />3 RECLeV~]ATION SURETY <br />14.3.1 The licensee shall maintain in force a surety pursuant to <br />6 CCR 1007-1-3.9.4 for the decommissioning and decontamination <br />of the crusher-sorter, ore storage and transfer areas, and for <br />the reclamation of the water treatment plant and impot.ndments <br />and drying areas. <br />14.3.2 APfOUNT OF SURETY <br />The decommissioning, decontamination, and reclamation surety <br />shall be maintained sufficient to fully comply with L(: 11.1.8, <br />and 6 CCR 1007-1. The Surety Agreement entered into t~etween the <br />licensee and the State is hereby incorporated by reference as a <br />condition of the license.
