• s <br />13.1.4.2 Emergency Response Capability <br />13.1.4.2.1 Plans <br />The licensee shall use plans in the Procedures Manual required <br />by LC 11.1.8, approved by the Department, for dealing with <br />~ accidents and fires in the processing operations, and in the <br />transportation of licensed material. These plans shall include <br />provisions for prompt retrieval of any radioactive ma serial <br />released by rupture of any impoundment, containment, or <br />pipeline, to levels specified in Annex C. <br />13.1.4.2.2 Equipment <br />The licensee shall have available on site sufficient ~~umps, <br />pipes, earth moving equipment, clean-up tools and sup~~lies, <br />containers, personnel support supplies, and fire fighting <br />equipment to make an adequate initial response to accidents and <br />fires. The licensee shall list in the Procedures Manual a <br />specific inventory of available equipment and supplies;. <br />13.1.4.2.3 Trained Personnel <br />The licensee shall maintain a documented training program, <br />approved by the Department, to insure that an adequate number of <br />trained persons are always available each day of the ;year on <br />site, to make an initial response to fires, accidents and other <br />emergencies which may result in occupational radiation exposure <br />or in a release of radioactive material into unrestricted areas. <br />13.1.5 SURETY <br />13.1.5.1 Maintenance of Sure <br />The licensee shall maintain all surety instruments required for <br />this license in effect until final action on release or renewal <br />is taken by the Department. <br />13.1.5.2 Annual Review of Surety <br />The licensee's surety required by this license shall Ise subject <br />to annual review for adequacy by the Department. It may be <br />adjusted upward or downward as current circumstances, including <br />but not limited to, inflation, regulations, and technology, <br />require. The licensee shall submit any proposed chanF;es by <br />June 30th each year. <br />-6- <br />
