Long,
Division Director
RE: Poverty Gulch Project, Queen Bess Mining Company
Dear Ms. Deutch:
This letter is in regard to the Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program's
Poverty Gulch Project in Teller County, Colorado. Previously I wrote to you
regarding a mine opening which we believed was located on the Queen Bess Lode
which is owned in part by the Queen Bess Mining Company. Since the time that
I sent the letter we have learned that the mine opening is located on the
Mollie Kathleen Lode which is leased by the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine Tours.
Because of operational schedule of the Mollie Kathleen Tourist Mine, we will
not be able to safeguard the mine opening this year. We hope to complete the
work in the Spring of 1993. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Julie Lake Annear
Realty Specialist
JLA /yjb
265OF
