Thank you for returning your signed consent to me for work on features 357 and
401 of the Poverty Gulch Project.
Also, thank you for agreeing to contribute $200.00 towards the safeguarding of
opening #357. #357 will be safeguarded with a locking door to which you will
have a key. I have enclosed a short agreement specifying the amount of your
contribution and the purposes for which the money will be used. Please sign
the agreement and return it to me. I will notify you after the contractor is
selected and at that time I will ask you to send a cashiers check in the
amount of the $200.00 made out to the contractor For your information,
estimated cost of the closure work is $3,000.00.
Also, before completing the work I will need to get copies of the document
that transferred title to the Ellen McGregor Lode and Little king Lode to Good
Chance mining. Please send me a copy of the document or give me the book and
page numbers so that I can order the document from Teller County.
Finally, I have given the project manager for the area, Bruce Stover, your
phone number. He will be contacting you in the future to discuss the
additional mine openings in the area that you mentioned to me.
