<br />n <br />~~ <br />5.0 Monitoring Schedule & Emergency Response Procedures <br />5.1 Personnel Monitoring Schedule <br />There are two job classifications of workers per shift at the ore <br />sorter. These are: plant operator, and oiler. In addition, on they day shift, <br />there are three additional jobs: plant superintendent; electrician; and <br />electronic technician. The total number of employees for all three shifts is <br />eleven personnel. In addition to the present weekly radon monitoring and the <br />present use of TLD badges, Cotter's amended ore sorter monitoring program is <br />outlined below. <br />5.1.1 High volume air samples taken one hour per month at the following four <br />work stations: (See Figures 3.1-2 & 3) <br />1. Office and control room <br />• 2. Sorter area <br />3. Crusher area <br />4. Wash screen (average condition) <br />5.1.2 Time Study <br />For one month each person will log his time and work station.. If <br />a person is not working near one of the first three work stations li<.;ted above, <br />work station number four will be used as an average. <br />5.1.3 Breathing zone samples to be taken once a month for each job description. <br />5.1.4 Urinalysis for operator and oiler in accordance with NRC Regulatory Guide 8.22. <br /> <br />
