:1 <br /> <br />EASTSIDE COAL COMPANY, INC. <br />Subsidence Report <br />December 1992 <br />Extraction Limits <br />R~~~1~,1~-; <br />JAN 2 5 lgg3 <br />MINERALS a GE~~:::~Jv <br />No mining has occurred at the Eastside Mine since the last subsidence survey. <br />The Mine Map dated October 5, 1990 shows the current extent of mining. A <br />conservative angle of draw of 25' includes Monument 2 in the area of possible <br />influence from subsidence. <br />Observed Subsidence <br />Monuments 1 and 2 as well as the Alternate Monument Points 1 and 2 were <br />surveyed on December 17, 1992. The results are shown in the enclosed tables. <br />The Last 6 surveys of Monument 1 indicate no appreciable movement. The <br />results are between 0.245 feet and 0.287 feet below the original survey. This <br />is a maximum variation of 0.032 feet between the last six surveys. The new <br />value of 0.245 feet below the original survey increases the maximum variation <br />from 0.027 to 0.032 feet. Monument 1: Alternate shows no change in elevation <br />from the last survey. Monument 1 shows an increase of 0.020 feet. <br />hh /' S-f li~c <br />The last 6 surveys of Monument 2 indicate no appreciable movement. The <br />,. results are between 0.270 feet and 0.363 feet below the original survey. This <br />dS is a maximum variation of 0.093 feet between the last six surveys. Monument <br />~~.-..j~ 2: Alternate shows an increase in elevation of 0.035 from the last survey. <br />Monument 2 has an increase of 0.020 feet. <br />All four Monuments, 1, 2, 1: Alternate, and 2: Alternate, will be surveyed in <br />the future to see if these trends continues. <br />No structures or renewable resources have been affected by subsidence of the <br />Eastside Mine. <br />
