Box 226
Delta, Colorado 81416
Re: Refuse Pile Professional Certification
File No. C-034-81
Dear Mr. Reschke:
Jim Pendleton has reviewed the refuse inspection report submitted by
Grand Mesa on October 3, 1983. He has indicated that in order to
determine what degree of relative compaction is necessary in order to
achieve compliance, it will be necessary to obtain the final material
testing results for the underground development waste material.
Within the original stability analysis, Rocky Mountain Geotechnical, Inc.
committed to submitting the final waste material analyses upon their
completion. Upon receipt of complete waste material test results and a
statement of the required degree of compaction consistent with the
original design requirements, the adequacy of the compaction reported can
be evaluated.
Sincerely,
G- ~ ~`~ ~.
Dan Mathews
Reclamation Specialist
DM/th
Doc.
