CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Mount: <br />RE: Annual Sand and Gravel 112 Report for 1993-94, and Notice of Intent to Continue Mining <br />Operations (Permit No. M-84-168) <br />Enclosed please Fmd [he Williams Fork Company 1993-94 Sand and Gravel Operations report, map and annual <br />fee payment ($550). We intend to continue mining operations into 1995. The enclosed map illustrates the sur- <br />veyed disturbance acreage which has been actively mined (18.5 acres) and total disturbance (26.8 acres). The <br />0.91 acres of additional associated disturbance includes topsoil stripping for pit advancement. The map also <br />shows storm water wntrol ditches which were associated with Technical Revision OS to the above-referenced <br />permit. <br />No additional acres have been permanently reclaimed during the 1993-94 report period. Topsoil salvaged ahead <br />of pit advancement was placed into existing topsoil stockpiles. The topsoil stockpiles will be graded and seeded <br />in November, 1994 to a temporary seed mixture similaz to the mix presented in Table E-3 of Permit No. M-84- <br />168. <br />During the past report period (October 16, 1993 through October I4, 1994) l.4 new acres were mined and 0.9 <br />acres were newly disturbed. The projection for the 1994-95 report period is for approximately 3.0 acres of new <br />mining disturbance in Mine Area N3. <br />Additional information concerning planned disturbance by area and the projected dates of development are given <br />in Permit M-84-168 Table D-l.
