Instream Segment 13a, Trout Creek below Fish Creek <br /> CWQCC regulation <br />e CWQCC lists numeric standards for the segments in its regulation 3.7.0. Historical <br />Standards 3.3.0 y <br />s monitoring data from the stream segments indicate the iron numeric standard is frequently <br /> exceeded and the lead and manganese standards are occasionally exceeded. Premining <br /> data indicate these exceedances are probably unrelated to mining. Monitoring data in the <br /> AHR indicate the mine's discharges did not cause exceedances of instream standards in the <br /> stream segments. <br />F. Antidegradation <br />CWCC regulations The Foidel Creek Mine is not subject to the Antidegradation Rule because the receiving <br />Rule for Surface <br />3.1.9(2) and 33.0. yes waters, Segments 13 a, b, and c in Region 12 of the Yampa River basin, are designated <br />°` <br />" <br />Water Use-Protected <br />. <br /> The Wedge overburden and the Twentymile Sandstone are the two aquifers most likely to <br /> be affected by mining. Both formations will be upgradient from mine workings, if the <br />G. Basic Standards workings are developed to the maximum extent approved. Ground water is monitored in <br />(Interim CWQCC regulation the following wells that are at locations downgradient from current workings: FBR-11B <br />Narrative 41.S.C.6 Yes (Wedge), 97012TM and 97013TM (Twentymile sandstone), and 97012TC and 97013TC <br />Standard) for (Trout Creek sandstone).
