Long, Director <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Co. $0203 <br />Re: Permit M-77-300, 112 Annual Report and Fee <br />Dear Mr. Long; <br />Pursuant to Section 34-32-116(3) and 34-32-116(4) of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 1973, as amended, <br />enclosed are the 112 Annual Report and Fee for the <br />Schwartswalder Mine, Reclamation Permit M-77-300. <br />Thin report serves as Notice of Intent to Continue Mining <br />Operations. The location and amount of affected acreage :Ln <br />1994 will remain as presented in the 1983 permit ammendme~lt <br />application. There have been no new areas reclaimed ainc~e <br />the 1993 Annual Report. <br />Pursuant to Colorado Mineral Rules and Regulations Rule 1, <br />Section 1.15(1)(x) the level of financial warranty for this <br />operation currently stands at 5383,183.00. The adequacy of <br />this warranty is under joint review by the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology (Division) and the Cotter Corporation <br />{Cotter). The warranty review was initiated following the <br />Division's 6/2/94 site inspection by William C. York-Feirn, <br />Reclamation Geologist.
