Follows are Bowie's responses to the Division's
questions and concerns:
Annual Hydrologic Report
General Comments
No response required.
Monitoring Frequency
No response required.
Water Ouantitv and Quality
The Division noted two observai:ions regarding groundwater
quality. First, the Division indicates well B07 had a
sudden and dramatic increase in conductivity in 1993.
The Division apparently did not interpret the graph
presented on Figure 4 correctly. The sudden and dramatic
increase was in water level not conductivity. The
conductivity of well B07 has been fairly consistent since
1988 with a range of about 900 to 1700. I believe 1993
was the year we had the wet winter and spring which
probably explains the sudden increase in water level in
well B07. Second, the Division noted a sudden drop in
conductivity values since 1990 in the East Roatcap Creek
and Stevens Gulch colluvial wells. Bowie is not aware of
any phenomena that may account for this change in EC.
