Please find the results of this review under the respective headings
below.
Sediment Ponds
The reports meet the requirements of Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment levels are planned to be
determined in the 2"d quarter of this year. Completion of the sediment cleanout of Pond 9
(north) was noted. Seeding and resetting of the sediment marker were not completed at the
time of the inspection.
Excess Spoil Fills
The reports reviewed for the three excess spoil fills meet the requirements of Rules 4.09.1(11).
Additional rock armoring of the downdrains was completed at Fill 7 during the quarter. Notation
concerning recertification of repaired areas at Fill 8 was noted. Completion of repairs to the
west downdrain at Fill 9 was also documented in the 1St quarter reporting. Minor reseeding of
the repaired areas is also necessary according to the report.
Discharge Monitoring Reports
No discharges occurred during the quarter, which is consistent with observations during DMG
field inspections.
We have no further questions or concerns at this time.
