Due to installation of
Culvert P, mine discharge water now enters East Sait Creek downstream from SW-1.
Coordination of surface water sampling concurrent with mine discharge events would
provide useful information, and should be conducted as practicable.
Please sample East Salt Creek stream sites during periods of tributary flow from
mine discharge when practicable. Include notation in sample reports indicating
whether or not sample was obtained during a mine discharge event, and if so,
include the quantity (gpm) of mine discharge flow.
Please conta e if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Daniel a ews
Environmental Protection Specialist
C: Denver File
Walter Whitledge, CAM Mining LLC
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactlve Mines Geological Survey
