Economic conditions in the Glenwood
Springs area last year were such that less area was mined
than was expected. Mining continued in Stage I on
the first of two levels.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and
Regulations.
2.41 (1) Mining continued in Stage I as expected.
Approximately 2.00 acres was disturbed.
There remains only 1.8 acres to be mined on
this level before it becomes necessary to
mine the second and final layer of gravel from
Stage I. Refer to the attached Annual Report
Map for location of mined land.
(2) No reclamation was required this year.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) Not applicable.
(5) Not applicable.
(6) Not applicable.
(7) Mining will continue on the remaining 1.8
acres +/- on the upper level and will move to
the lower level of Stage I when the upper level
is complete.
