As you know. there was no minino at either
mine during the last year. The conditions and forecasts detailed
in previous reports are still applicable. This reoort shall first
Discuss the effect of McClane Canyon mine on the local bedrock
aouifer. next discuss the effect of Munger Canyon mine, and last
discuss the effect of both mines on the hydrology of East Salt
Creek.
McCLANE CANYON MINE
Mine History
The mine remained under Division approved Temporary Cessation
during the reporting period. There has only been maintenance work
done at the mine for the last reporting period. Maintenance of
the mine included such thinos as surface water controls.
underground roof support, pumping water from the mine. and the
general upkeep of equipment. Since there has been no minino at
either mine the mine workings maps included in the last submittal
are still correct and should be retained.
Water Inflow L Discharge
Since there was no mining during the year, no additional around
was opened up to supply additional water to the mine. The inflow
of water has decreased to approximately 0.86 gallons per minute
from the 1.18 oallons per minute reported for the last period. A
tabulation of water inflow/outflow from the mine is included as
Table 1.

hlOV 211986
MIP~~J l.~tP1D
rEC~A~aa ~~ro~! ulvlslorv
