This

report will be different from previous reports because there are no
newly affected areas.
There are no newly disturbed areas for the 6-82 to 6-83 report-
ing period. All total, there are 194.9 acres under major disturbance
in the mining areas. There are 54.2 acres designated as stockpile
and waste disposal areas, all of which are considered major disturbances.
There were no areas reclaimed during the reporting period. All
total, there are 156.9 acres that have been reclaimed. In May of 1983,
the reclaimed areas were treated with a spray adjuvant to make better
use of natural moisture. Also, in May, the reclaimed areas were ferti-
lized with a commercial liquid fertilizer. All areas are experiencing
excellent growth with haying being done in areas (W) and (X).
Plans for reporting period 6-83 to 6-84 include continuation of
the relocation of the Government Ditch into Area (D). Reclamation will
be concentrated in Area A, which will amount to 10 to 20 acres.
