~: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~~~~ <br />RECLAMATION ANNUAL REPORT <br />LYONS QUARRY <br />LYONS, COLORADO <br />PERMIT N0. 77208 <br />:?JL i 1 1883 <br />MINES LAND HECLAMATJAN <br />Colo. feet. et Natural Resources <br />The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Act of 1976, Statute 34-32-112 of House Bill No. 1065. <br />This report follows the outlined requirements found in the Rules <br />and Regulations of the Colorado Land Reclamation Board, Section 2.4, <br />covering annual reports. <br />The permit for the Lyons Quarry was issued on 6-4-78. This <br /> <br />report will be different from previous reports because there are no <br />newly affected areas. <br />There are no newly disturbed areas for the 6-82 to 6-83 report- <br />ing period. All total, there are 194.9 acres under major disturbance <br />in the mining areas. There are 54.2 acres designated as stockpile <br />and waste disposal areas, all of which are considered major disturbances. <br />There were no areas reclaimed during the reporting period. All <br />total, there are 156.9 acres that have been reclaimed. In May of 1983, <br />the reclaimed areas were treated with a spray adjuvant to make better <br />use of natural moisture. Also, in May, the reclaimed areas were ferti- <br />lized with a commercial liquid fertilizer. All areas are experiencing <br />excellent growth with haying being done in areas (W) and (X). <br />Plans for reporting period 6-83 to 6-84 include continuation of <br />the relocation of the Government Ditch into Area (D). Reclamation will <br />be concentrated in Area A, which will amount to 10 to 20 acres.
