The <br /> pit is still being operated by Aggregates, Inc. under a lease from <br /> Suburban Sand and Gravel Co. This pit is operating according to <br /> the Technical Revisions approved in June, 1992 and January, 7th <br /> 1994 . The bond amount is $68,500 and the pit is not a phased <br /> operation but the area of disturbance is limited. The permitted <br /> area is 168 .41 acres ±, the pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary <br /> Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. Please <br /> refer to the map attached for the areas discussed in this report. <br /> l We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report <br /> requirements in Section 2 . 4 . 1 of the Rules and Regulations. <br /> 2 . 4. 1 <br /> (1) At the current time we have 75. 52 acres ± disturbed in the <br /> pit. This entire area was stripped of topsoil and the topsoil <br /> V was stockpiled for use in reclamation. We have approximately <br /> 42, 200 YD stockpiled, covering 6. 50 acres ± on the east and <br /> north side of the stripped area (brown) . Of the total <br /> disturbed area 30. 09 acres ± is stripped and ready for mining <br /> (tan) , 42 . 10 acres ± is lake area (blue) and 3 .33 acres ± has <br /> been partially reclaimed (green) . <br /> (2) No reclamation was required during this year. As noted above <br /> there are 3 . 33 acres where reclamation has begun. The area <br /> was graded, shaped and resoiled in the fall of 1992 . It will <br /> be seeded this spring when weather permits. In addition, two <br /> peninsulas (brown) have been constructed on the south and east <br /> side of the site and most of the south side slopes have been <br /> completed, approximately 2 ,925 linear feet. �p� <br />
