October 2000 -52- 003-2191
• (I-I) The types and heights of fencing to be placed on-site
Portable fencing panels will be used to control windblown debris. The fencing panels
will be skid mounted, approximately20 feet long and 8 feet high. The fence fabric will
be chain link wire mesh or an equivalent material.
(I) Provisions to minimize nuisance conditions on-site
Disease and nuisance vectors will flourish at the depository only if they have a source of
food and shelter. Construction and demolition debris do not provide a food source for
vectors. Odors at depositories
primarily originate from the incoming waste. As in the control of disease and nuisance
vectors, odors aze controlled by compacting the refuse and applying daily cover
material. If nuisance conditions occur at the site for any reason, appropriate action will
• be taken.
(.i) Provisions for fire protection to eliminate open burning on-site
The burning of refuse is not permitted at the depository.
