Box 670 Division Director <br />Hayden, CO 81639 <br />Re: 2000 Annual Reclamation Reports for Seneca II, Seneca II-W, and Yoast Mines <br />Deaz Mr. Shevling: <br />On April 12, 2001, we received the Seneca Coal Company (SCC) 2000 Annual Reclamation <br />Reports (ARRs) for the Seneca II, Seneca II-W, and Yoast Mines. Several exhibits and <br />important data contained on CD-ROM were missing from each of the respective reports as <br />described below. <br />Seneca II Mine (Permit No. C-80-0051 <br />Extent of backfilling and grading, topsoil removed, existing topography, aerial photo, and <br />planned vegetation for 2001. <br />Seneca II-W Mine (Permit no. C-82-057) <br />Extent of backfili and grading, topsoil replaced, existing topography, aerial photo, and planned <br />vegetation for 2001. <br />Yoast Mine (Permit No. C-94-082) <br />Extent of backfill and grading, existing topography, aerial photo, and planned vegetation for <br />2001. <br />These maps are an integral part of the ARKS since they show where the vazious reclamation <br />activities occurred during the pzevious yeaz. The Division uses this information for comparison <br />with pemrit provisions to evaluate compliance.
