The Flintkote Company)
Coaldale Quarry;
File No.: M-77-247, Fremont County
Dear Mr. Klco:
The 1985 Annual Report, Map and fee were received by the Division on
April 28, 1986. Thank you for such a fine submittal.
I would also like to thank you for your time taken to inform the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Board and Division staff of your mining and reclamation
operations during the March 19, 1986 tour of the Coaldale Quarry.
The Board wishes to commend you for your enthusiastic concern and resulting
reclamation success. In light of your success, the Board expressed the desire
of reviewing a synopsis of your findings, i.e., a review of various materials
and procedures (both successful or otherwise), and any recommendations you
might provide, such that the reclamation success you've achieved may be shared
with others.
The Board appreciates how busy you are, especially now, with the growing
season upon us. If you find the time, perhaps you could "jot down" some of
your expertise. I am sure the Board would be grateful for any information you
are able to provide. Perhaps you might like to speak to the Board during one
of their meetings.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
/ 77~ L; tL~<'
Camille M.
