The maps
were not submitted with payment of our annual fee.
We are still presently in the process of obtaining an approved augmen-
tation plan. We have a case submitted before the water court and at the
present rate of action from the State Engineer's office should have some-
thing resolved by the turn of the century.
To date, we have mined approximately 25,000 tons of sand from the pit.
Topsoil stockpiles have revegetated through native seed in the topsoil. The
haul road has also revegetated in the same manner. At our present sale rate
we will excavate approximately 15,000 tons of material from the pit in the
coming year.
if water problems can ever be resolved, we will obtain material from
the bottom of the previously excavated area. This will result in disturbing
less surface area. If we must maintain a shallow pit, then approximately
2,200 square yards of additional area will be disturbed.
Sincerely,
oh T. Ungefug, P.
Enclosure
.~~61 ~
~.
~~~
