THERE WAS NO EQUIPMENT <br />WORKING IN ANY OF THESE AREAS TODAY. THE GOLDEN EAGLE RDA HAD BEEN COMPLETELY LEVELED OUf AND <br />COMPACTED BY A DOZER. FILL MATERIAL APPEARED TO BE UNIFORM IN MOISTURE CONTENT AND NO WET OR SOFT <br />AREAS WERE OBSERVED. THE NEW ELK WAS1E DEVELOPMENT PILE HAD AN AREA OF END DUMP PILES IN THE <br />NORTHWEST CORNER THAT HAD NOT BEEN SPREAD OUT. THE MATERIAL DIRECTLY SOUTH OF THESE PILES HAD <br />BEEN SPREAD BUT APPEARED TO BE LESS COMPACTED THAN THE REST OF THE FILL. THE MIDDLE PORTION OF <br />(CONTINUED ON SHEET 2 OF RfPORT 5~ <br />X IN OUR OPINIOµFILL COMPACTION MEETS SPECIEI ATIONS AS INDICATED BY OUR OBSERVATIONS AND TEST NO.ISI 41-47._ .. <br />-_ IN OUR OPINION.
