RECEIVED
APR 2 2 2002
ANNUAL REPORT 2001 Division of Minerals and Geology
MINING PERMIT NO.:M-1993-030
As of 1 January 2002, all impact areas are as indicated on
the accompanying updated "Affected Lands Map" (ALM). All ex-
cavations have been backfilled, contour graded and seeded, as
required, except for areas 2 and 5 in mining parcel No. 3 as
shown on the (ALM). These two pits will be excavated to a
deeper level and the areas will not be increased unless values
discovered require more area to recover them. The work in
these pits is, at present, the only work proposed for the fu-
ture. Ho~oever, further plans may change the entire operational
mode. (See explanation further on in this text.)
A review of the (ALM) will show absolutely no change or adjust-
ment to indicate mining activity and remains exactly the same
as last year's map, except of the date of update.
Due to extenuating circumstances, I was unable to mine on the
areas covered under permit No. M-1993-030. The reasons for
this situation would only add length to this report and are of
no relative importance to those reviewing this report.
As a result of the study of the geology, some exploratory tren-
ches and holes were dug in order to see what value prospects
are present. Some of these sites show some promise and will be
revisited and worked. All excavation disturbances dug during
this exploration have already been backfilled, contour graded
and reseeded.
The operation will remain small but will not be abandoned.
Any activity and impact work accomplished during the 2002 min-
ing season or period will appear on my next annual report.
Sincerel ,
ohn 0. Buckner
Owner/Operator April 15,2002
