Inspection dates were 11/08/02, 11/13/02, 11/21/02, and
11/29/02 and as represented by the attached field log report copies these inspections and
recordings identified readings at RS-1, RS-2, RS-3 and RS-5 of zero (0) inches and RS-4
and RS-6 were dry. The monthly precipitation accumulation for November was a trace
as associated with several light snowfall events.
Vacuum on the tailing lysimeters was verified on November 29`", no water was present
for sampling and subsequent analysis as represented on the attached field log report
copies.
Depths to water were collected for the tailing impoundment main embankment and West
Pit piezometers/monitoring wells on November 28t1i and 29a' as represented on the
attached field log report copies. The November 29a' tailing impoundment piezometer
measurements identified these installations were either dry or contained less than 12
inches of water as illustrated in Table 2. Tables l and 2 below identifies the depth to
water measurements collected for each of the site monitoring wells, piezometers and
lysimeters.
The tailing impoundment collection pond underdrain flow was measured three times
during the month and the leak detection system was measured on November 29°i. The
November 2002 collection pond underdrain flow average was 44.2 gpm and a total of
P.O. Box 310 • San Luis, Colorado 81 1 52-03 1 0 (719) 379-0798 Pax (719) 379-0713
