We do not anticipate disturbance of additional
acreage during the 1999 permit year. We would note [ha[ limited reclamation is proposed for the upconung
year. The central area, shown on the map as 75-100% mined, is now being used for an increased
processing plant site and additional material stockpiles. Consideration is also being given to locating an
asphalt plan[ in [Ite sou[hwes[em area, noted on the map as 75% mined, and we propose to keep that area
available for that option.
Instmctions accompanying the annual report indicated [ha[ a written report is not required if an adequate
map is provided. We believe that the enclosed ntap, together with [his cover letter, addresses the required
elements adequately, however if you need clarification or additional information, please advise
accordingly.
In accordance with reporting requirements for this operation, well monitoring data from 1999 is also
submitted herewith.
Very truly yours,

Connie N.
