Long <br /> Division Director <br />TO: Dan Mathews _ 25 May 2000 <br />:~ <br />/ ~. <br />FROM: Jim Bume~J ' <br />SUBJ: Annual Hydrology Report for McClane and Munger Mines <br />Dan, <br />I have completed review of the 1999 Annual Hydrologic Report for the McClane and Munger <br />Mines. <br />The reports are complete, except for the noted absence of analyses from one sampling event, as <br />you pointed out. There is one question that stands out. On figure 3, map of mine workings for <br />McClane, what does the blue stippling refer to? This is not included in the key. Of course, the <br />blue color immediately makes one think of water, but with as little inflow as is occurring <br />(<4 gpm), that doesn't seem logical. <br />The Hydrology Task Force has been discussing the fact that, in general, we need to make certain <br />that each mine runs analyses for all the constituents specified in [he receiving stream standazds <br />for each location.
