GROUND WATER MONITORING -
Quarterly water samples are collected at monitoring wells AA-1 and AA-3 using a
hand bailer. The results of groundwater data collected during 2001 and pertinent water
quality parameters are found below. Depth to water is measured from the top of the steel
casing on AA-1 and top of the 2-inch PVC pipe for AA-3. The location of the alluvial wells
can be found on map, "Figure 11 ", in Appendix A. Graphs and well completion diagrams
are presented in Appendix B.
Monitoring Well AA-1:
Quarter Date pH
su Temp °C Depth
feet Cond.
umhos/cm Oil or
Grease
15` 2/19/01 7.6 11.9 12.18 4900 No
rZnd 6/1$/01 8.0 17,1 12,56 5.10 NO
3r0 8/13/01 7.6 19.6 12.94 4900 No
4"' 11/12/01 7.8 14.8 12.32 5000 No
•
L J
Monitoring_Well AA-3:
Quarter Date pH
su Temp °C Depth
feet Cond.
umhos/cm Oil or
Grease
151 2/19/01 7.0 7.3 8.84 490 No
2nd 6/18/01 7.6 12.2 7.65 350 NO
3`d 8/13!01 7.3 16.9 8.42 460 No
4`h 11/12/01 7.4 14.4 8.93 470 No
Findings:
AA-1 The field parameters for this well are within well water range, but since it is a new
well, there is not historical data to compare it to.
AA-3 The field parameters for this well are similar to historic averages. Not enough water
was available in AA-3 to perform full suite analysis for the 4`" quarter 2001.
-2-
