RECEIVED
APR 12 2003
ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2002 Division ~f Minerals anA Geofo~y
MINING PERMIT NO. M-1993-030
As of April 1 S, 2003, all impact azeas are as indicated on the accompanying updated
"Affected Lands Map" (ALM). All excavations have been backfilled, contour graded,
and seeded as required, except for areas 2 and 5 in mining parcel No. 3 as shown on the
(ALM). These two pits will be excavated to a deeper level and the azeas will not be
increased unless values discovered require more area to recover them (see the two orange
spots on the ALM). Activity in the permitted areas during the mining season of 2002
amounted to exactly nothing due to the "Hayman Forest Fire" and my own ill health. I
expect better conditions in 2003. The above noted statements consist of all that I am
aware of at this time. I will, of course, submit a revised ALM as soon as information is
available. Please contact me if you have any questions.
The "Operators" Plan of Operations with the U. S. Forest Service (USFS) was approved
by (USFS) on 12/12/01 for a period of S seasons or until 12!31/06.
If there are any questions or needed additional information, please contact the
Owner/Operated at the address or telephone number shown on the accompanying data.
Sincerely,
C John O. Buckner
Owner/Operator of Crystaljack Mining
