Pueblo West Pit <br />2006 Annual Report <br />Transit Mix of Pueblo <br />M-1977-573 <br />Overview of Permit Year: Over the 2005-2006 permit year Transit Mix of Pueblo <br />has worked on the north side of the river reclaiming the area to create a reservoir area. <br />The State Engineer's test on the reservoir began on March 6, 2006, and will continue <br />fox 90 days. This test is to ensure the reservoir meets the design criteria for a <br />reservoir. Thus far the tests results have looked quite favorable. <br />Activity: Mining has ceased at this site and the only activity that is occurring <br />is <br />i Control: Txansiw. Mix will perform one last weed control effort on the 104 <br />previously released to State Parks in accordance with its agreement with State <br />. The control measures used will be mowing, and control of white top and other <br />~s. Transit mix will now concentrate weed control efforts on the current <br />Moir area. <br />Reclamation: Reclam;ition continued in 2005 and will continue in 2006. The <br />reservoir area has been completed and after the 90 day design test reclamation will <br />continue. The existing soil pile in the reservoir bottom will be spread out and the area <br />will be seeded. <br />cted Activity: Throughout the upcoming year the expected activity will be <br />letion of reclamation activities in the area north of the river as seen on the map. <br />it Mix is currently testing the design of the reservoir through the State Engineers <br />;.
