2) backfilling and grading of the slopes in the eastern portion of the permit area was
done in the past year. Since mining has just recently been completed in Phase 1 (East
Area) and stockpiles are still present, no additional reclamation could be done. Now
that the east area is completely mined, topsoil will be stripped from the west area and
replaced on the reclaimed east area slopes. Mining will continue in the west area until
the reserve is mined out.
(3) For the upcoming year, the portable crushing and screening facilities will return and
mining will continue west of the unnamed drainage in the newly disturbed 4.4 acres. It
is estimated that only 1 acre will be disturbed in the upcoming year in the western
portion of the mining area. The ranch building in the west area (see map) may be
removed in the next 12 months.
(4) Reclamation over the upcoming year will consist of backfilling and grading the
slopes of the east mining area, followed by topsoiling of these areas. The topsoil will
be obtained from new mining in the west area.
(5) The current contact for this operation is:
Jason Burkey
B&B Excavating, Inc.
PO Box 1729
Edwards, Colorado 81632
Phone # (970) 926-3311
Tax I.D.
Enclosed is a check for $688.00 for the annual fee.
Sincerely,
(~.
Greg Lew~cki, P.
