Enclosed are the results of the verification
} sampling that we discussed during the meeting.
Based on the discussion.Umetco will construct a monitoring well down gradient and in
close proximity of the PCS site. If water is intersected within 75 ft.of the surface
k elevation.Umetco will monitor the well on a quarterly basis for a period of one year for
TEPH.TDS,and pH. The pit created by the excavation of the PCS will remain open
i until the results of the monitoring well program are reviewed by your department.
r If you have any questions,or need more information, please call.
Sincerely,
Tony Bates
Mines Reclamation Manager
Enclosure
cc: W.Erickson.DMG
L.Deremo
