• FrXhibit L:
1. Why do 12.27 acres need grading but not
topsoiling before planting? If areas such
as roads are to be disturbed and then
planted, topsoil should be stripped, planted
and replaced. This may increase reclamation
costs for some percentage of those 12.27
acres.
As the areas on the perimeter of the completed
lake are not to be mined we see no need for them
to be stripped of all existing vegetation and top-
soil at this time. These areas are included in
the revegetation plan, however, so that any moderate
damage sustained at some future date is covered.
2. If the 100' "undisturbed greenbelt" is
indeed undisturbed, it should have no
reclamation costs associated with it.
See above,
• 3. Reclamation bond calculations can be done
in more detail and a bond amount finalized
when the exact acreage, topsoil volumes,
etc., have been more clearly identified.
Reclamation costs as listed on the application
are extremely conservative and certainly adequate
to take care of the job.
• ~ ~~ CONSTA UCTION, INC.
...._ ...+vim _u.rwv ~r~~~ .~+-li_~~nv_r..... ._. »r.~~~v .r... .. ~~.s-1'x`2'.
