Carter March 12, 1998 <br />Re: Response to Susan Burgmaier's comments on the 1996 Annual Hydrologic Report <br />unchanged, and [he remaining facilities areas were covered with Small Area Exemption altemate <br />sediment control features, such as silt fences and straw bale filters. <br />' Stormwater dischazge sampling data includes the following: <br /> A sample was taken September 30, 1994 at the dischazge sample point for a Small Area <br /> Exemption, SAE-2, that previously existed at the lower end of the drainage area above the <br />' Elk Creek Facilities Area. The sample contained 0.2 mUl oftotal settleable solids and was in <br />compliance with effluent limitations required by Colorado Division of Minerals and <br /> Geology, Permit No. C-81-022. This area is now within [he drainage area of Pond B, <br />' following Technical Revision Number 29. <br /> A sample was taken Febniary 13, 1995 at the dischazge sample point for a Small Area <br />' Exemption, SAE-2, that previously existed at the lower end of the drainage area above the <br /> Elk Creek Facilities Area. The sample contained less than 0.1 mUl oftotal settleable solids <br /> and was in compliance with effluent limitations required by Colorado Division of Minerals <br />' and Geology, Permit No. C-81-022. This area is now within the drainage area of Pond B, <br /> following Technical Revision Number 29. <br />' A sample was taken February 21, 1995 at the discharge sample point for a Small Area <br />Exemption, SAE-10, that previously existed at the Lower Hubbard Creek Facilities Area. <br />The sample contained less than 0.1 mUl oftotal settleable solids and was in compliance with <br />effluent limitations required by Colorado Division ofMinerals and Geology, Permit No. C- <br />81-022. This area has been reclaimed and revegetated. The area drains to alternate sediment <br />control straw bale filters. <br />A sample was taken March 9, 1995 at the discharge sample point for a Small Area <br />' Exemption, SAE-10, that previously existed at the Lower Hubbard Creek Facilities Area. <br />The sample contained less than 0.1 mUl oftotal settleable solids and was in compliance with <br />effluent limitations required by Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, Permit No. C- <br />' 81-022.
