FOUR CORNERS MATERIALS <br />A division of Oldcastle SW Group, Inc. <br />26 June 2007 <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />Deparhnent of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street; Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Re: M-1992-054 -Ignacio Pit - Anuual Report - 2007 <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />Four Corners Materials is the current operator of the Ignacio Pit, permitted to LBCR, LLC. <br />During the permit year that began on July 14, 2006, the following activities occurred at this <br />location: <br />• Construction of the CDOT-required deceleration lane at the gravel pit's road approach on <br />SH 172 <br />• Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil and overburden from the azea shown as Phase D on <br />the Mining Plan <br />• Mining and processing (crushing and screening) of pit run from "Phase D" <br />• Commercial sales of rock products <br />To date, disturbance has been limited to the northern portion of Phase D, which is 12 acres in <br />size. The bond amount, based on a potential of 20 acres disturbed at one time, is thus deemed to <br />lie sufficient.
