The reports were signed by a registered professional engineer where required.
Attached to the report for the Lower Refuse Pile is a schematic showing the approximate location
of the sampling locations. Comparing the schematic to the relative compaction results, it can be
seen that the new lift at Sample Location Nos. LRP-Ol through LRP-]0 meets the 90°/a maximum
dry density compaction standard. The sample locations were selected and located on the area that
was compacted with a "sheepsfoot". The compaction and density analyses were completed on
June 9, 1994, by Lambert and Associates.
If you have any questions regarding the reports, please notify me.
Sin r y,
enry Ate. ~arbe
Environmental Coordinator
Enclosures
xc: C.
