LOng
Division Duepui
We have received the 1993 Annual Reclamation Report and the July-December 1993 Semi-
Annual Report for the Meadows #1 Mine. We have the following comments regarding the
reports.
1. The reclamation report was satisfactory.
2. For the Semi-Annual report, please provide the Division with copies of the results for
hydrologic monitoring conducted during the reported period.
3. You also included copies of correspondence regarding termination of the lease
agreement between Sun Coal Company and John and Allie Eilts. In that
correspondence, you listed a number of structures which you have deemed the property
of the Eilts'. Please be aware that, as we have discussed in the past, we cannot consider
that correspondence to be binding, since we have no record that the Eilts' have agreed
to retain that property.
If you have questions or are in need of additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Susan L Burgm ier
Environmental Protection Specialist
s~n~mslva.wP
