BYRON J. & LALANI R. WEATHERS PAGE 2
WEATHER MINE #1 - 2000 ANNUAL REPORT
M-99-089
NOVEMBER 17, 2000
11(cont) The area colored purple was stripped of topsoil and partially
mine. Topsoil has been stockpiled for use when reclamation
begins along the east side of the site and the south side of the
new area (brown). We estimate there are 43,000 cy of topsoil in
the pile at this time. The exterior slopes are continuing to be
mined to their final rate of 3h to lv. Mining will continue next
year in areas previously disturbed and may expand as the demand
for material increases. If needed, additional area will be
stripped adjacent to the mining area and the topsoil will be
saved for use in reclamation. No reclamation is required at
this time other that the bank sloping. This has been successful.
