Please refer to the map attached for locations of the areas <br />discussed in this report. <br />Rererence is made to MLRB Rules and Regulations, Section 2.40. <br />2.41 <br />(1) No new area was stripped this year, mining continued in those <br />areas previously stripped. We continued to mine in Stage 1 <br />removing an additional 6.35 acres ±. In addition we mined <br />0.73 ac.± Stage C, in areas previously disturbed (brown). <br />(Z) We temporarily suspended backfilling in Stage Y this year <br />since no additional lands were stripped, No other stages <br />require reclamation at this time. No planting was scheduled <br />for this year. We did not do any bank sloping this year since <br />mining was confined to the portion of Stage 1 that will be <br />lake bottom when reclamation is complete. <br />(3) We will strip and mine approximately 8.19 acres in Stage 1 and <br />1.98 acres in Stage C this next year (yellow). <br />(4) Monitoring nas continued in the areas where revegetation has <br />been done in Stage X. Natural invasion of surrounding vegetation <br />is starting to happen. When the amendment was submitted we <br />showed that until we stop dewatering Stage 1 the chances of <br />
